Leveraging Inclusion: Women Leader’s Inaugural Luncheon

The Franco-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Zenith Bank Plc in partnership with Africa Women CEOs Network hosted the inaugural edition of its women leader’s luncheon. The theme, “Leveraging Inclusion,” resonated deeply throughout the event, fostering high-level engagements and impactful discussions.

The luncheon brought together diverse group of women leaders from both the private and public sectors. It served as a platform to showcase the remarkable strides made by women in leadership positions across various industries.

The French Consul General, Laurent FAVIER, emphasized France’s unwavering commitment to achieving gender balance across all sectors in his opening remarks.

The Director General of the Chamber , Moses Umoru in his opening remarks stated that “Gender diversity in c-level positions in organizations is no more a privilege but studies have shown that organizations with greater diversity do better than those with less diversity, hence in the best interest of organizations to adopt balanced gender diversity at decision making”.

Honoured to have the Special adviser to the President on the Ease of doing business Dr Jumoke Oduwole , the honorable commissioner for commerce , cooperative, trade and investment Lagos state Folashade Ambrose-Medebem , Chairman Emerging Africa Capital Dr. Toyin F Sanni , Adobi Nwapa , Executive Director Zenith Bank for their very informative presentation around the theme of leveraging inclusion for the advancement of women in leadership roles.

The intervention session moderated by Lehle Balde had very important reactions from H.E. Toyin Ojora Saraki, Kunle Ahmed, Dorcas George among others.

Studies consistently demonstrate the positive correlation between diverse leadership teams and improved company performance. We are committed to supporting initiatives that promote women’s leadership and unlock the full potential of our economies.
